Congratulations!
Here are useful hints and tips for your first shaves with the new SHAVENT!
-
The SHAVENT is made of metal and therefore has a higher Weight than the plastic razor you may have used before. This is a bit unusual at first, but very soon you won't even notice it anymore.
-
When you shave with the SHAVENT for the first time, take your time. Lather the area to be shaved well with shaving foam, soap or shower gel, just like you always have. Our own SHAVE & SHOWER care range is ideal for this - full shaving care, without plastic! Now just let the SHAVENT glide easily over the skin, at first without pressing down . Get the hang of it With the light pressure you will get the hang of it very quickly.
-
Be special carefully in places such as shins, knees, ankles, chin, head. As with any other wet razor, the risk of cutting yourself is greatest here.
-
Do not use the SHAVENT on dry skin !
-
The finished spray shaving foam from the can is also unsuitable because it is far too dry and doesn't soak the skin. In addition, it is anything but environmentally friendly and therefore does not fit the SHAVENT.
-
If the handle of the SHAVENT is slippery , it's because of the soap. Simply rinse your hand briefly with the SHAVENT under running water. It will soon be safely in your hand again.
-
If Hairs on the blades Don't just let it rinse off, open the knurled nuts very slightly and let a jet of water run through it.
-
You are no longer happy with the shaving result as satisfied as when you started, then it's time for a blade change! Equip your SHAVENT with fresh blades and the shave becomes sharp again.
-
If you have changed the blades, please make sure that the new blades look nice again parallel lie and be securely clamped by the upper head.
-
After shaving, you can dry the SHAVENT so that it shines beautifully. But you don't have to, because wetness doesn't harm the SHAVENT at all.
-
If you want to do a more thorough cleaning, you can use the SHAVENT without blades simply in the dishwasher put, e.g. in the cutlery basket. It is best to clean the intermediate plates by hand so that they do not bend.
-
You have to find out for yourself which blades are best for you. We recommend that finished half blades from Derby to use, you can get them in our shop or elsewhere on the internet. If you find other brands of blades better, you can also cut regular razor blades in half, but please don't break, but with the help of sharp scissors Carefully cut lengthwise in the paper. This means that the blades do not have a bending edge and the risk of injury is reduced.
-
We have the SHAVENT as a three- Blade wet razordesigned and find it the best. But you might want to experiment a little and try the SHAVENT with just one or two blades. Nothing stands in the way of that. Insert blades and spacers in the way that works best for you. We would be very happy to hear about your experience.

So, let's get started! Plastic-free and gentle!
