SHAVENT Trade-In Program – Upgrade to 2.0

Dear SHAVENT family,

We are excited to introduce you to our exclusive Trade-In Program! For the next three months, we are offering all owners of the SHAVENT 1.0 the opportunity to upgrade to the new SHAVENT 2.0 and benefit from attractive advantages if they wish to trade in their SHAVENT 1.0.

How it works:

  1. Place an order: Add the desired SHAVENT 2.0 as well as this service product "SHAVENT Trade-In Program – Upgrade to the Original 2.0" to your cart. With the Trade-In Program, you have the choice:

    • Either direct refund to your 2.0 order to your original payment method.
    • Or shop voucher for future purchases in our online store.

      (Please note: both the claim for a refund and for the Voucher will expire if you return the SHAVENT 2.0 under the 30-day money-back guarantee and wish to have the purchase price refunded. Any refunds already paid or used voucher values will be deducted from the refund of the 2.0 return. Cash payouts are not possible.)

  2. Send in your Razor: Send your SHAVENT 1.0 along with the printed order confirmation within 30 days after your order to the following address:

    IMPORTANT: Be sure to replace "[Bestellnummer]" in the address with the order number of your Shavent 2.0 order. Also, print out your order confirmation email and include it in the package. This is the only way we can match your submission and issue your credit / Voucher!

  3. Credit received: After receiving and checking your submitted SHAVENT 1.0, you will receive your refund for your order or your store voucher, depending on your selection.

    "Don't forget" Checklist:

    1. Submit within 30 days - the date of the postmark applies.
      Extra recommendation: Choose an insured shipping method where you receive a tracking number, so you always know where your package is and when it will arrive, as we unfortunately cannot take responsibility for lost packages. 
    2. Send in all parts - all cast parts must be sent in completely (handle, top head, bottom head, pressure pin, base).
      "You do NOT have to send in the spacers and can keep them at home; they also fit in your new 2.0. You also do not have to send in other components of sets, e.g., the blade collection box."
    3. BE SURE to write the keyword "Upgrade" and the order number on the address label AND include the confirmation email or another proof of the order number of your 2.0 order in the package.
      SUBMISSIONS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN AN ORDER NUMBER AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE ALLOCATED MUST UNFORTUNATELY BE DISPOSED OF WITHOUT ANY CLAIM FOR REFUND.
    4. Be sure to select the correct trade-in program - only Original can be exchanged for Original and Compact can be exchanged for Compact. Unfortunately, other combinations are excluded from the program.
    5. Be nice: please only send in clean SHAVENTs. Your package will be opened and processed by lovely people. Please make sure they are not greeted by a pile of hair.

    General Terms and Conditions (GTC):

    "To ensure a smooth process and fair treatment for all parties involved, we kindly ask you to read the following terms carefully:"

    1. Eligibility to participate:

      • The trade-in program is exclusively for customers who own a SHAVENT 1.0 and purchase a SHAVENT 2.0 within the promotional period.
    2. Promotion period:

      • The program runs from 01.03.2025 until 31.05.2024.
    3. Submission deadline:

      • Your SHAVENT 1.0 must be on its way to us within 30 days of your SHAVENT 2.0 order. Late submissions cannot be considered.
    4. Condition of the submitted device:

      • The submitted SHAVENT 1.0 should be functional and in a hygienic condition. Heavily damaged or incomplete devices may be excluded from the trade-in.
    5. Credit options:

      • 'After successful examination, you will receive for your 1.0 either:'
        • A €15 (Compact) / €30 (Original) refund to your original payment method.
        • A 25€ (Compact) / 45 € (Original) Voucher for our online shop.
      • Both options expire if you return the SHAVENT 2.0 under the 30-day money-back guarantee. This means in the case of a return specifically: You will only receive the amount back that has not already been refunded to you through the €15 or consumed through the redemption of the store voucher. Unused credit on the store voucher expires. 
      • Cash withdrawals are excluded.
    6. Abuse and Fraud:

      • "We reserve the right to reject submissions or reclaim credits already granted if there is suspicion of abuse or fraud."
    7. Disclaimer:

      • "We accept no liability for losses or damages during the shipping of your SHAVENT 1.0 to us. Please ensure safe packaging and insured shipping."
      • Furthermore, a Shavent 1.0 that has been received and processed by us can no longer be assigned to you. There is no claim for return or replacement beyond the Trade-In program in any case.   

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

    1. Can I send in multiple SHAVENT 1.0 devices and benefit from the trade-in multiple times?

    • You can submit a SHAVENT 1.0 for every purchased SHAVENT 2.0.
    • Only one discount can be claimed for a new Razor. This means that it is not possible to send in two 1.0 models and then receive double the discount on a new 2.0.

    2. What happens if my submitted SHAVENT 1.0 is damaged?

    • "Light signs of use are acceptable. However, devices that are severely damaged due to improper use or cleaning may be excluded from the trade-in."
    • P.S.: If there is only a problem with the small screws on the head, don't worry - if all the cast parts are still fine, it's not a problem and you can also participate in the program with a SHAVENT "in individual parts". Just send in all individual parts including the base.

    3. How long does it take to receive my credit?

    • "Upon receipt and inspection of your submitted device, it usually takes 7–10 business days for the credit to be processed for your order or your shop voucher. The credit will be issued to the payment method you used for the 2.0 purchase."

    4. Can I return the SHAVENT 2.0 if I participated in the Trade-In Program?

    • Yes, however, in this case, the refund / the Voucher will expire. The refund or already used voucher values will be offset against your refund amount for the return.

    5. Who bears the shipping costs for sending the SHAVENT 1.0?

    • "You are responsible for the shipping costs for sending in your SHAVENT 1.0. We recommend insured shipping."

    6. What do you do with the submitted razors?

    • Thanks to the high-quality raw materials, the SHAVENT parts can be efficiently recycled. We ensure that great new things can emerge from your 1.0 by feeding the parts into the recycling loop. If you're interested in learning more, you can find more about zinc recycling here (Text in German)
    • Please also note: a submitted 1.0 will be directly recycled and can no longer be identified as yours. A return is therefore unfortunately not possible.

    7. Is the offer valid for all SHAVENT colors?

    • Yes, the offer applies as described above for all SHAVENT colors.

    8. I don't have a printer - can I also include my data in the package in a different way than by using a printed order confirmation?

    • Yes, that is not a problem. It is important that we find the order number of your 2.0 order as well as your name and the email address under which you placed the order, clearly legible inside the package. Only then can we assign your submission of the order and you will receive your trade-in benefit.
