My first attempt at shaving with the new sustainable razor SHAVENT
for many years I had different ones Systemrasierer used, always bought new models and tried them out. Mostly, of course, like many of us, the special “for ladies” razors. I recently had a "regular" for men and I found it shaved much better.
But over time, not only the many excited me Plastikmüll that arises from the constant buying of the interchangeable heads, but also the large amount of money spent on it!
So I immediately loved Armin's idea to construct a similar model with a moving head and three blades, but all metal! Then there is finally an end to all the plastic waste from interchangeable heads and their packaging.
When the first prototype was ready and Armin had already mastered the first attempts on his face without damage, I naturally wanted to try it on his legs as well!
So, as usual, I wet my legs in the shower and put some shower gel on them.
Now I took the new razor, which I had great respect for because razor blades are very sharp and I was concerned about hurting myself. Very slowly and very carefully I put the new razor on and drew a line from bottom to top over my calf.
Nothing! I felt nothing. No scratching, no shaving noise, nothing.
It doesn't work at all, I thought. Nevertheless, I kept trying. When the first leg was treated all over, I ran my hand over the skin. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
So smooth! How is that possible, I hadn't even noticed the shaving and the sharp blades! I immediately tested the razor on my armpits, with the same result. What a treat, this will be my new shave!
I still have this feeling after every shave with the SHAVENT, and often I have to smile at the first experiences. Since that day I have never used my old system razor again, because this model never gave me such a smooth shaving result. Otherwise I wouldn't have noticed the difference so much.
There were exactly two injuries at first, one on the ankle and one on the knee. To be honest, this was my own fault. You have to put the razor carefully and not just "hack it loose". The shins, ankles and knees require care, as with any razor.
Otherwise he shaves SHAVENT very gentle and very thorough. If that feeling wears off, it's time for a blade change. For me after about 4 weeks.
Conclusion:
the SHAVENT is super good for smooth legs!
It also shaves all other parts of the body just as gently and smoothly. Men can of course also use it, because it is just as gentle and thorough for the face and head.
There is no more plastic waste and no expensive interchangeable heads that you have to keep buying.
Changing the blade is a bit more complex than just clicking out the replaceable head and clacking in the new one. But with a little practice, it's a small thing. A pack of blades easily lasts me two to three years and only costs a few euros.
