Start simply with less pressure than before. Rule of thumb: with a plastic razor, you press like when writing with a ballpoint pen, with the SHAVENT only as you would when writing with a fineliner / Stabilo.
Use the SHAVENT always on wet skin with a gentle foam - often just a shower gel is enough, but you can use the SHAVENT with all shaving products that you use with other razors: gel, soap, foam - the main thing is that it "slides". You can change the blades as often or as rarely as you have been doing. We recommend changing them whenever the shave doesn't feel as smooth as it did at the beginning - because sharp blades are the best remedy against skin irritations.

As with every Razor, the same applies to the SHAVENT: please always be careful - Razor blades are notoriously razor-sharp! Do not allow Razor and blades to fall into the hands of children or other individuals who cannot handle Razor blades safely.

The SHAVENT feels substantial in the hand as a metal razor with its approximately 85 grams of weight - this means you need significantly less pressure during shaving to achieve a perfect shaving result.
As a rule of thumb: with a plastic razor you press the same way as you write with a ballpoint pen, with a metal razor you only use the pressure with which you write with a Stabilo/Fineliner.
Thanks to the smooth-swinging head, the SHAVENT offers a safe, thorough, and gentle shave for the face, head, and body, including the intimate area, for both men and of course women.

The SHAVENT 2.0 has enlarged outlets on the razor head, allowing hair to be transported away even better (for your information: the enlarged outlets have also been used in the 1.0 since June 2022).

No, don't worry - the magnets hold themselves in place through mutual magnetic repulsion even in the Shavent. So they remain reliably in their position, even after many rinses.
No, nothing on the SHAVENT can rust. If you should see slight brownish marks when changing the blades, then don't worry: these are deposits from the tap water and skin flakes, which can be easily removed with your finger or a small brush with regular cleaning.
The SHAVENT uses standard Razor blades. The so-called Half blade or "Single Edge Blades" have been used in straight razors for decades and are available from many brands in our Shop, on the major online marketplaces, and in specialty stores at a low price. Thus, each blade change costs only a few cents instead of many euros.
The blades can be changed in just a few steps. Simply loosen the knurled nuts, remove the head and insert new blades alternating with the spacers.
